First Preparatory Meeting
As part of the program of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) affiliated with the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and under the slogan "Investment for Jobs," the Job Creation Partnership Project aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the Arab Republic of Egypt within the framework of a special initiative for training and job creation, in collaboration with the German company sequa and GOHARZ.com. This project aims to address the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises in the poultry sector in Egypt and tackle the problems to help them face current economic challenges, including high inflation levels that have severely impacted essential goods and production capacity, prompting many companies to reduce their workforce.
- Meeting topics:
- 1- Animal health, the most important challenges, breeding problems, and epidemic diseases.
- 2- Manufacture of feed and the latest technology in the field of poultry feed.
- 3- Managing the waste generated in poultry activity and how to maintain the sustainability of the sector
- 4- Use of Digital technology, artificial intelligence, and modern digital programs to develop and manage companies in the poultry sector efficiently.
- Objectives of the meeting:
- Highlight the challenges facing the sector and discuss innovative solutions to improve productivity, quality, and food safety.
- Helping small breeders and medium companies in increasing their investments in the poultry sector through financing and financial support programs and knowledge of the best modern production patterns and uses of technology to increase production efficiency.
- Build bridges of cooperation and communication between the academic sector and the private sector to promote a culture of innovation and development, while showcasing the latest technologies and methods used in poultry farming and feed production.
- Establish strategic partnerships that contribute to the sustainable development of the industry, focusing on supporting innovation and enhancing environmental and economic efficiency in production processes.
